The goal of this bazaar is to implement the database primitives for TPC-D, the standard benchmark for decision support, and then demonstrate both good absolute performance and scalability on the NOW cluster. We will implement TPC-D in the River framework; a system for Scalable, Performance Robust I/O, and therefore a good match for TPC-D.
