Lecture 2: Parallel Programming Challenge
Abstract
This lectures builds up three important concepts: (i) the steps
increating a parallel program, (ii) the basic parallel programming
models, and (iii) the key factors impacting performance. It illustrates
the inherent trade-offs through a series of extensions of Amdahl's
law.
