Lecture 27: Connnected Components and Sorting Wrap-up
Abstract
Steve Lumetta with present interesting work in parallel connected
components algorithms, which brings together parallel algorithms,
programming techniques, advanced scientific methods. The study
is a very nice model for final projects.
Time permitting, I will wrap up the discussion of fast parallel sorting,
showing further showing the importance of hybrid global/local algorithms
in practical problems.
